JOB SUMMARY
The Chief of Party (COP) will provide overall technical leadership and managerial direction for the Activity. They will have the strategic vision, leadership qualities, depth and breadth of technical expertise and experience, professional reputation, management experience, interpersonal skills, and written and oral presentation skills to fulfill the diverse technical and managerial requirements of the Activity. The COP will have technical and management responsibility for all Recipient personnel and be the Recipient’s representative to USAID/Ghana, the GOG, other donors, technical agencies, and other key stakeholders, as required. The COP will have overall responsibility for addressing award-related issues, including ensuring that Recipient financial controls and systems comply with generally accepted accounting practices that meet USAID standards and that all project-procured materials and equipment are safeguarded prudently and responsibly used. They will manage project staff and ensure Accelerate Action for Family Planning Activity meets stated goals and reporting requirements, as well as ensure the quality, timeliness, and efficiency of all products and activities generated under Accelerate Action for Family Planning Activity. The COP will be responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of all reports and other project products. This position is contingent upon award.
