Montessori Pre-School /Creche Teacher

To develop a careful and creative program suitable for preschool children using a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, media, etc.) to teach children. Observing each child will help them improve their social competencies and build self-esteem. Impart Christian values and moral education to children, promote good behaviour and discipline in the classroom, and impart an appreciation and respect for diversity in the world.

SIA is seeking an enthusiastic and energetic preschool teacher to set up our gifted and talented program
Previous experience in teaching gifted and talented children, plus relevant teaching experience is essential. Required Skills or Experience Applicants must have a degree in or teaching certification and a minimum of three years of teaching experience.

Requirements:

1. Applicants must be living in and around Spintex Road, Accra
2. A first Degree or Diploma in Education or business-related field
3. Must have at least 2 years of teaching and Montessori experience
4. Actively participates in all curriculum activities
5. Devoted Christian and passionate about children’s well-being
6. Dedicated and hard-working
7. Education: diploma or first degree
8. At least 3 years of experience
9. Preschool Curriculum knowledge and expertise preferred
10. Proven experience as a Preschool Teacher
11. You must be a devout Christian
12. A strong desire to make a difference every day and a love for children
13. Fluency in English (speaking, reading, and writing)
14. Extensive knowledge of child development principles and preschool educational approaches
15. Familiarity with classroom safety and sanitation guidelines
16. Excellent communication and teaching abilities
17. Ability to function as a child-to-child mediator
18. Calm demeanour, friendliness, and dependability
19. Strike a balance between creative and practical thinking.
